To set up your Apple Mail 3 for IMAP

1. Make sure that you have your current password, if you do not we DO NOT keep these on file (this is for security reasons and all passwords are encrypted on our server and we do not keep the key!), so we will have to generate a new one for you. Please contact us here for your details, remember to include your email address that you want reset.
2. Assuming now you have your username, these are the settings that you require
   • Incomming or imap server is imap.fbi.ie
   • select ssl as connection security type
   • port is 993
   • Outgoing or smtp server is smtp.fbi.ie
   • Select TLS for security connection type
   • port 587

1. Click Mail > Preferences....
2. On the Accounts tab, click the + button to add a new account.
3. Fill in the new window with the following information:
4. Full Name: [your name]
5. Email Address: your full email address [username@domain.ie ]
6. Password: your email password
7. Important: please deselect the box next to 'Automatically set up account'
8. Click Create.
9. Fill in the following Incoming Mail Server information:
10. Account Type: Select IMAP
11. Incoming Mail Server: Change this to imap.gmail.com
12. User Name: your full email address [username@domain.ie, ]
13. Password: your Gmail password
14. Click Continue.
15. Enter the following Outgoing Mail Server information:
16. Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.fbi.ie
17. Use Authentication: selected
18. User Name: your full emial address [username@domain.ie,]
19. Password: your email password
20. Click Continue.
21. Review your Account Summary, and click Create.
22. Check our recommended client settings, and adjust your client's settings as needed.
23. You're done!
