To set up your Android OS email client for IMAP
If you follow these following steps you should be fine:
- Make sure that you have your current password, if you do not we DO NOT keep these on file (this is for security reasons and all passwords are encrypted on our server and we do not keep the key!), so we will have to generate a new one for you. Please contact us here for your details, remember to include your email address that you want reset.

- Incomming or imap server is imap.fbi.ie
- select ssl as connection security type
- port is 993
- Outgoing or smtp server is smtp.fbi.ie again SSL
- port 587
To configure the 'Email' app on an Android device for access to email, just follow the steps below:
On your phone, press < Home >, then open the Email application.
On the 'Your accounts' page, select Next to get started with setup.
Enter your full email address and password, then select Next.
On the next screen, you can give the account a nickname and choose the name to display on your outgoing messages. Tap Done.
And you're done. You can verify your settings from the Inbox view by tapping < Menu > > Account settings.

Security type: SSL (always)
Outgoing settings
SMTP server: smtp.fbi.ie
Port: 587
Security type: SSL (always)
